Information
How FurrFlora works, how to use it, safety, shipping and the questions we hear most.
The science, simply
Pheromones are chemical messages animals use to talk to their own species. FurrFlora diffuses natural pheromones that carry the message "this place is safe".
When cats rub their cheeks on furniture and doorways, they leave a facial pheromone that marks the place as familiar. Feline Formula carries that message, which helps cats feel at home after a move, around new people or pets, and during stressful events.
Mother dogs release an appeasing pheromone that reassures their puppies. Dogs keep recognizing it for life. Canine Formula carries that message, which helps with noise fears, time home alone and settling into new places.
How to use
Choose where your pet spends the most time, like the living room or their sleeping spot.
Use an outlet at least 3 ft from doors and windows, not behind furniture or curtains.
Keep it plugged in all the time. Most pets show a difference within about 7 days.
Replace the refill every 30 days, or subscribe and refills arrive automatically.
Tip: for fireworks, a move or a new pet, plug it in 2 to 3 days ahead. For bigger homes, use one diffuser per floor.
Safety
No sedatives or medication. It works through your pet's sense of smell.
The cat formula only signals to cats, and the dog formula only to dogs. People and other animals won't notice it.
For indoor use only. Keep refills and sprays out of reach of children, don't swallow the liquid, and keep the diffuser uncovered. Spray CalmMist on beds, carriers and resting places, never directly onto your pet.
FurrFlora is not a substitute for veterinary care. If your pet has sudden or severe changes in behavior, please see your vet.

Our diffusers come with a UK plug (Type G, for the UK and Ireland), an EU plug (Type C/F, for most of Europe) or a US plug (Type A, for the US and Canada). Choose the one for the country you'll use it in. CalmPod refills fit every diffuser, whatever the plug.
CalmMist comes in a Feline formula for cats and a Canine formula for dogs. Use 8 to 10 sprays on your pet's bed, carrier or favorite places of comfort around the house, never directly onto your pet, and follow the labeled waiting time before your pet goes in. At that rate a 60 ml bottle lasts about 30 days.
We deliver free to UK, EU, USA and Canada. Orders arrive in 5 to 8 business days, with tracking by email.
One refill lasts about 30 days. Choose 1, 2 or 3 refills (2 refills last about two months, 3 about three), and subscribe for a lower price on every delivery. Have a cat and a dog? Choose The Calm Mix with 2 or 3 refills and pick Feline or Canine for each one. Buying a FurrFlora CalmPod Starter Kit? Add a refill subscription sized to your kit: 1 refill for each diffuser, sent with your kit and then every 30, 60 or 90 days, so you never run out.
Natural pheromones for pets, in natural, pet-safe ingredients. Feline Formula carries the facial pheromone message cats leave when they cheek-rub. Canine Formula carries the appeasing message of nursing mother dogs. Each 48 ml refill lasts about 30 days.
Some pets relax within a day or two. For most, give it about 7 days of continuous use. For known events like fireworks or a move, plug it in a few days ahead.
Pheromones are species-specific, so the feline formula signals only to cats and the canine formula only to dogs. People and other animals won't respond to it. As always, ask your vet if your pet has a medical condition.
Both! Use one of each, ideally in the rooms where each pet likes to rest. Add a FurrFlora CalmPod Starter Kit in each formula, or choose 2 or 3 kits for a bigger home. Every kit comes with 2 refills.
Choose a refill rhythm of 30, 60 or 90 days and pay the lower subscription price on every delivery. You pay for the first delivery when you order, then the same amount is charged automatically each time a delivery is due. If you add a refill subscription to a Starter Kit, it works the same way: the first refill delivery is charged when you order and sent with your kit. The cart shows every recurring charge before you check out, and we email you a reminder before each payment. Skip a delivery, change the frequency or cancel any time from your FurrFlora customer account or the link in your confirmation emails, at least 5 days before your next payment. No fees and no awkward phone calls. How subscriptions work.
In the room your pet spends the most time in, at least 3 ft from doors and windows. Keep it clear of curtains and furniture so the air can move freely.
Choose the cat or dog formula and start with the starter kit.
