We gave them a home. They made it ours.

FurrFlora began when my partner and I welcomed two cat siblings and a dog into our home after a fire destroyed their previous owners’ house.

They were loved pets whose world had suddenly changed. We could give them somewhere safe to live, but helping them feel safe was something we couldn’t rush.

We tried everything we could to make them comfortable. We gave them love, space and time to settle in. Still, we kept wishing we could explain that they belonged here—that this was their home now, too.

While looking for ways to help, we discovered pheromone diffusers designed for cats and dogs. We introduced them alongside the care and familiar routine we were building.

Within two weeks, we noticed a change. They seemed more relaxed, more comfortable and more themselves. Before long, they were acting as though they had been part of our home from the very beginning.

That feeling stayed with us. The relief of seeing an animal you love finally settle. Of knowing your home has become their home, too.

It’s the experience that inspired FurrFlora.

We wanted to help other pet parents support their companions through unfamiliar surroundings and everyday changes. That’s why we created CalmPod: a simple way to make pheromone support part of your pet’s daily routine.

Every pet’s journey is different. Ours needed patience, consistency and a little extra support—and helping them find their paws gave us a purpose we hadn’t expected.
